We are currently seeking a reliable, motivated research-oriented person to work closely with us on fabricating and characterizing new stationary phases for liquid chromatography, particularly HPLC . These new stationary phase materials contain a gradient in one or more functionalities (example, C18, Phenyl, Silanols, etc) along its length and are designed to improve the selectivity of a complex separation. Recent PhD students with direct chromatography experience interested in a one-year postdoctoral position in the Richmond area are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
PhD in Chemistry or related field.
Attention to detail, good experimental and record-keeping skills, and a desire to learn new things.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Chromatography, particularly HPLC .
