ADJUNCT FACULTY, Dance Instructor - Continuing Education Adult Enrichment
Continuing Education courses are short, focused courses offered for personal growth and enrichment. Courses are noncredit, not graded and geared toward helping adults explore a passion, develop a skill, or learn something new. We are seeking a dance instructor to teach adult beginner dance courses such as ballroom and latin dance.Candidates should be comfortable teaching adult students who come to class with a variety of skills and interests. Most classes are taught in the evenings or on weekends.
Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as, face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
- Experience teaching dance classes to adults with a wide variety of skills is preferred.
