Position Summary:
The Training Specialist will train and develop training based on assessed needs using in-house resources as well as those available outside the Training Branch such as universities, experts in their fields, private contractors, etc. The incumbent will provide training to Cabinet for Health and Family service in the area of KTAP/KWP, TANF, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program/SNAP, Child Care, Medicaid program and/or Health Benefits Exchange. The position will be flexible regarding work location.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree required
Master’s preferred

Minimum Experience:
At least three years of related work experience in family support required. Preference will be given to candidates that have experience and knowledge of KTAP/KWP.

Special Instructions Summary:
The University Training Consortium (UTC) provides Administrative and Training Support Services to the Department for Community Based Services. This position is an EKU position, but housed in a DCBS office under the UTC contract. The funding is in whole or part from federal, CHFS or other state funds and subject to renewal. The office location will depend upon the candidate chosen. This posting is for two vacancies.
