Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for a temporary, part-time Traffic Attendant in the University Police department. This is a 36 week position.

The candidate would be expected to: issue temporary parking passes and verify that students and employees have appropriate parking permits; direct vehicles to vacant parking spaces; check and monitor traffic in various areas.

Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Valid Automobile Driver's License in your state of principal residence

Required Skills or Software:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately

Other Requirements:
Must be able to maintain data manually and generate neat and accurate reports. Ability to maintain composure and appropriate decorum during difficult situations.

Able to work outside during inclement weather and monitor various parking lots on foot and have the ability to work overtime as needed.
