Northern State University’s School of Business is accepting applications for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor of Economics.

 

Qualifications: Applicants with a Ph.D. in Economics from an accredited university are preferred; however, ABD’s who will complete their degree before the date of appointment will be considered. Professional or academic experience in agriculture would enhance a candidate’s application as would international experience.

 

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be able to teach a variety of undergraduate courses such as Macro- & Micro-economics at both the introductory and intermediate levels, Statistics, Analytics, Managerial Economics, Money & Banking, International Trade & Finance, Introductory Econometrics, etc. in both face-to-face and on-line settings; serve as an academic advisor; engage in scholarly activity; and provide service to the university and community.
