The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking an experienced Clinic Receptionist to join our tight knit team providing professional and friendly reception and administration services to the student practitioners, clinic clients, and academic supervisors.

As the Clinic Receptionist you will excel in customer service, have a friendly positive attitude and be able to respond promptly to queries with sound judgement and a kind nature. You will be a team player with the ability to also work independently and on your own at times.

On a typical day in this role you will:

  • Provide outstanding customer service face to face and via email and telephone to patients, students, supervisors and practitioners in the Clinic
  • Managing patient enquiries, including describing services and making appointments
  • Ensuring the clinic is opened and closed for business daily, the waiting room and reception areas are neat, tidy and appropriately stocked
  • Entering and maintaining correct patient records in relevant databases
  • Ensuring accurate scheduling of new and return appointments
  • Accurately process payments from patients into the point of sale (POS) system.

  • This is a Permanent full time role based at our Fitzroy Campus in Melbourne

    Who are you?
    To be successful in theClinic receptionistposition you will have:

  • Experience working in a medical or allied health reception role
  • Experience with medical software
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and ability to relate to other people and to work co-operatively as a member of a team
  • Able to exercise judgment and problem solve effectively when faced with difficult patients/situations
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to respond appropriately to customer enquiries
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with a high level attention to detail
