About the Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and diverse team of Principal Investigators, Research Professors, Scientists and Graduate students in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering.

Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Director of Administration & Finance, the Administrative Assistant performs varied and valued duties for the management of a grant(s) to include travel, purchasing, tracking and reconciliation of expenditures. The position supports both faculty and the supervisor with scheduling meetings, organizing conferences and events. Responsibilities also include assisting with reporting requirements, student and faculty abstracts, articles and proposals. As part of an administrative team supporting the day to day operations of a busy academic group, this position assists with special projects and performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree is required and an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) is preferred. The successful candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills. Must be self-motivated, flexible, team-player who can succeed in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Proven ability to pitch in as needed in a variety of administrative and event-based tasks and be able to meet deadlines and understand the importance of confidentiality when dealing with Center files and issues. The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks is strongly desired.
