Appalachian College of Pharmacy is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, 12-month entry level faculty/post-doctoral position.  This position requires teaching in the didactic and experiential curriculum within the PharmD program in the areas of medicinal chemistry and pharmaceutics, as well as conducting independent and collaborative research. 

 

The successful candidate must hold a doctoral degree in pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical sciences, medicinal chemistry or a related discipline. Teaching experience is preferred in pharmacy curricula and laboratory instruction (compounding and integrated labs).  Required skills include proficiency with analytical instrumentation such as UV-visible spectrophotometer, near infrared reflectance spectroscopy (NIR), high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Preferred qualifications include publication in peer-reviewed journals and experience in commercial pharmaceutical development and analysis.
