GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Northland Pioneer College seeks an innovative leader committed to the mission, vision, and values of the College to serve as an Instructional Designer. The Instructional Designer, who reports directly to the Chair of Instructional Technology and Curriculum Support Department, works directly with faculty on course design for academic programs in collaboration with the Faculty in Educational Technology/Department Chair and Curriculum Coordinator.
Responsibilities of the Designer include teaching between 6-8 credits annually, as a 10- month-faculty position. The Instructional Designer participates in planning, implementation and assessment activities for faculty teaching online, hybrid, and face-to-face courses. The Designer emphasizes culturally inclusive pedagogy/andragogy, Universal Design, and Open Educational Resources.
