Position Summary:
The Director of Strategic Initiatives for Inclusive Excellence, Training, and Campus Engagement will play an integral role in coordinating campus-wide training and development on issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Director will work collaboratively across campus to facilitate workshops and develop and lead programming and initiatives to enhance equity and inclusion amongst faculty, staff and students. The Director will serve as a liaison to Human Resources and Institutional Equity, facilitating training sessions for departments and colleges across campus. This position will also partner with Development and Alumni Engagement to connect alumni to the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and serve as a development officer for the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion when needed and under the leadership and guidance of the Vice President for University Development & Alumni Engagement.


Minimum Education:
Master’s Degree in a related field is required. Experience in higher education is preferred.


Minimum Experience:
Three (3) years of related experience is required. The position also requires a high level experience in issues dealing with and advocating for diverse populations and a demonstrated record of higher education administrative expertise and successes.
