The University of Washington (UW), Department of Medicine, Division of Dermatology is seeking applicants for two full-time (100% FTE) faculty positions. These positions offer a variety of research, clinical and teaching responsibilities and would be proposed for appointment to the Assistant Professor rank, on the clinician-scholar pathway (without tenure due to funding). These positions would have an annual service period of 12 months [July 1-June 30]. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service. The anticipated start date would be December 1, 2020.
QualificationsRequirements include an MD (or foreign equivalent) and Board Eligibility or Certification in Dermatology (or foreign equivalent). A competitive applicant will have a clinical, teaching and academic interest in Dermatology.
In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S,) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
