The Department of Chemistry at the University of Washington invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, tenured appointment to start in September 2021. Outstanding candidates in all areas of chemistry and interdisciplinary fields involving chemistry will be considered for an appointment at the Associate or Full Professor rank with tenure. University of Washington faculty members engage in teaching, research, and service. Successful candidates will be expected to participate in undergraduate and graduate teaching and to maintain innovative, externally-funded research programs. The Department seeks to attract and promote a diverse workforce to maintain and enhance the excellence of the University. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. (or foreign equivalent) in chemistry or a related field by date of appointment.
