Lecturer of Political Science

School of Government & International Affairs

 

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track Lecturer of Political Science faculty position in the School of Government & International Affairs that begins August 2021.

 

The primary responsibility of this position is to teach the introductory-level American Government course, as well as additional lower and upper-level political science courses. All political science specializations are encouraged to apply. The Lecturer will also be expected to carry at least one service commitment per academic year. A commitment to excellence in teaching is expected of all faculty members in KSU’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences.

 

A minimum of an earned Master’s degree in Political Science or closely related field (or its foreign equivalent) is required; Ph.D. holders are also welcome and encouraged to apply.

Prior college-level teaching experience, as well as online teaching experience, is desirable.
