Babson College has openings in Babson Park, MA for the following positions: Asst. Prof. of Quantitative Methods; Asst. Prof. of Finance, Asst. Prof. of Global Studies, and Lecturer in Info. Sys.
Asst. Prof. of Quantitative Methods: Teach quantitative methods courses to business students. Develop and deliver innovative quantitative courses for undergrad business and MBA students. Collaborate across disciplines and between institutions and perform active research in the field. Teach undergrad quantitative methods sequence course that includes statistical modeling along with business analytics and computational finance courses. Must possess PhD degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
Asst. Prof. of Finance: Teach undergrad courses in Finance. Serve as an active member of the finance division, college and broader academic community. Must possess PhD degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
Asst. Prof. of Global Studies: Teach in the History and Society Division. Teach introductory and advanced courses within the division, as well as one of the divisions first year Arts Humanities and Social Sciences (AHS) Foundation Program courses. Teach, research, and perform college services. Must possess a PhD degree in History or a related field.
Lecturer in Info. Sys.: Teach undergrad students in Information Technology. Teach courses in many different formats, including traditional semester schedules, experiences, evening classes, weekend classes, and online instruction. Collaborate with faculty from multiple disciplines to design and teach courses in an integrated, cross-disciplinary context. Use new technologies and other innovative modes for course delivery (such as blended/online environment). Enhance the college's commitment to diversity and inclusion and contribute to campus life as an integrated faculty member including scholarship and serving on committees. Must possess a master's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field.
