Job Description

The Program Manager for the Cultural and Community Centers (CCCs) encourages student belonging and inclusion through active and individualized care, mentoring, and support. This position will lead program planning, implementation, and cultural events related to the Heritage Months. The position will support communications and public relations work for the CCCs through website development and maintenance, data analytics, and marketing of events and programs. The position will provide direction and leadership for students and student groups affiliated with each of the five CCCs and collaborate with the directors to develop effective program linkages. The manager will also work with all units to ensure students are well-supported and to maximize student success and well-being. The person in this role is student-centered, collaborative, and intentional in their role as an educator.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus professional work experience to include event management, and program development and implementation grounded in social justice, cultural enrichment, diversity, equity, inclusion, student development equivalent to a Master's degree. OR Master's degree in a related field.

Strong administrative and technical skills to include experience with Microsoft suite.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in a related field.
