TRIO Student Support Services Project Director
Maryville College, located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in eastern Tennessee, seeks a full-time, 12-month TRIO Student Support Services Project Director. This position supervises Student Support Services staff, identifies and selects participants, coordinates activities and services for participants, manages participant case load and supervises others’, provides academic and pathway coaching, leads the Student Support Services Advisory Committee, manages the TRIO budget, conducts data analysis and reporting, and ensures all grant operations comply with Maryville College policies and Department of Education TRIO Student Support Services Program requirements.
Qualifications: Minimum of master’s degree in counseling, psychology, educational psychology, social work, college student personnel or related discipline. Three or more years of case management experience; preference for Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Training in retention strategies/best practices for underrepresented students; program development and management; grant management and reporting; and budgeting, monitoring expenditures, recordkeeping, and report preparation.
