The David Owsley Museum of Art has a professional position available immediately.
Position Function:
Provide for the care, preservation, safety, and accessibility of the museum’s collection and associated records.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in art history, museum studies, or library and information studies.
Experience:
At least two years of experience with museum registration and/or collections database systems management.
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Other:
Computer literacy, strong communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; excellent organizational skills; attention to detail; management of multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:
Education:
Master’s degree from an accredited institution in art history,
museum studies, library and information studies, or related
field.
Experience:
Three years of experience with registration and/or collection management; experience with collections management database systems.
