Position Summary

A member of a multidisciplinary team of scientists at the University of Georgia engaged in the study of HIV -associated diseases and other infectious diseases.

Duties/Responsibilities

Processing biological samples and analyzing the immune response during chronic SIV and influenza infection of non-human primates• Performing immunologic studies such as flow cytometry and biological imaging studies, protein production and analysis• Assisting with management of biological studies and samples Lead technical role for the monoclonal antibody projects, epitope mapping, and B cell memory studies from both mouse and human vaccinations.

Percentage Of Time 85 Duties/Responsibilities

Lead a team of technicians, graduate students, and undergraduate students on various lab projects and undergraduate training programs.

Percentage Of Time 10 Duties/Responsibilities

Writing and preparing scientific results for publication and presentation at scientific meetings, as well as grant applications. Other duties as assigned
