About the Opportunity:
For the Life Sciences Testing Center (LSTC) on Northeastern University Innovation Campus at Burlington, we seek a Supply Chain Manager to oversee supply-related activities for our new lab. The successful candidate will ensure the integrity of the laboratory supplies for a high throughput testing facility including, but not limited to, planning for and overseeing uninterrupted provision of supplies and materials needed, inventory control, and tracking. He/she will work with the lab supervisory staff to monitor supplies and assess needs, with vendors to track orders, and with university departments including procurement, accounts payable, and transportation to monitor, control, and track inventory. Key aspects of the position will be communication with stakeholders at all times, anticipating needs, identifying potential issues, and resolving them in a proactive manner.
This is an 18-month term positions with the possibility of renewal depending on funding and business need.
Inventory Control & Tracking
Analysis & Review
Bachelor's degree in a related field
2-4 years of supply chain and procurement experience
Experience in a scientific or diagnostic lab
Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
Proven ability to analyze and solve problems creatively
Strong interpersonal skills
