TEACHING ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN COMMUNITY HEALTH

Description

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (illinois.edu) and the Department of Kinesiology and Community Health (kch.illinois.edu) is searching for an outstanding candidate for a nine-month, non-tenure track appointment at the rank of Teaching Assistant Professor. A strong candidate will be expected to teach a variety of undergraduate and/or graduate courses, coordinate and oversee student internships, and assist the Director of Graduate Studies in Community Health with dissertation approval.

General Information

Qualifications

Successful candidates should have an earned doctorate in public health, community health, kinesiology, nutrition, nursing, or a related field. Desired qualifications include, but are not limited to: expertise in health behavior and promotion, health administration, and environmental health; teaching experience in higher education; knowledge of community resources; strong writing skills, and internship oversight and coordination. Salary

Compensation is competitive and will be commensurate with the applicant's record.
