Accountabilities

Responsible for the execution of specific strategic activities and outcomes within Men’s Lacrosse.
These will include sustained performance and execution in the following areas:

- Adherence to the Head Coach’s philosophy of athletic instruction/coaching

- Program operations and administration as designated by Head Coach

- Oversight of all administrative operations regarding student-athlete development

- Execution of all scouting, film preparation, and competition preparation

-Video breakdown and the use of use of appropriate video-editing software

- Coordination and oversight over film exchange program per conference policies

- Development of scouting reports

- Exercises independent judgement regarding recruitment of prospective student-athletes in the attraction and evaluation of prospective student athletes

- Developing and maintaining relationships with prospective student athletes and other recruiting constituents

- Maintain personal compliance with all governing bodies NCAA specific conference
athletic department university policies

- Successful completion of annual NCAA recruiting exam

- Attendance at all required compliance educational meetings

- Successful on-time completion of all recruiting logs

- Maintain professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

- Accountable for student-athlete welfare while coaching and exhibit role modeling behaviors and leadership for student-athletes

Professional Experience/ Qualifications

- Passionate about the game of Lacrosse

- Strong commitment to the academic success of student-athletes

- Good communication and technology skills

- Requires an adaptive and collaborative approach to changing work environments

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience coaching Men’s Lacrosse is preferred

Education

Bachelor’s degree is required
