The successful candidate will be expected to develop a strong externally funded research program and a high-quality teaching portfolio. Outstanding candidates with expertise in the broad fields or mechanical properties of materials, electron microscopy, high-temperature materials, and advance ceramic manufacturing are encouraged to apply. In addition to building a world-class research program, the successful applicant will be expected to teach classes in mechanical and thermal properties of materials, electron microscopy, metallurgy, and/or advanced manufacturing at the undergraduate and graduate level. Candidates must have Ph.D. degree in MSE or a closely related field and be committed to excellence in research, teaching and experience.
