Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Quantum Communication Theory in the Department of Physics (Ref.: 501908) to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Physics or related subjects. Those with strong knowledge and publication record on the theory of quantum communication, particularly the security analysis of quantum key distribution, will be highly desirable. Applicants should be highly self-motivated and have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English. The appointee will work under the supervision of Professor Hoi-Kwong Lo.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
