Brac Graduate School of Management will be pivotal for introducing world-class management education in the South Asian country which is experiencing economic growth at a high rate. Faculty will have a unique opportunity to assist the development of a new school to meet its mission to educate managers and executives to promote quality, sustainability and entrepreneurship in a thriving South Asian Capital City, Dhaka, and beyond by contributing to advancing management scholarship and effective pedagogy in a frontier market.

The university was established by BRAC, the world’s largest non-governmental organization. In line with the university’s mission to promote development, the school aims to produce creative leaders who will be responsive to society’s needs.  In line with the university’s goals, Brac Graduate School of Management is poised for growth internationally, and has several open faculty positions (all ranks), particularly in the following areas:

• Business Ethics/Sustainable Business

Requirements:

Qualified applicants will have a terminal degree (PhD, DBA) from an accredited business school in a relevant discipline.  Successful candidates will demonstrate capacity for research leading to publication in high-quality peer-reviewed journals and remain active in scholarship, possess an unwavering commitment to teaching excellence, and be willing to provide service to the school as it grows. The school particularly welcomes applications from scholars who have the capacity to establish high-impact research programs, preferably interdisciplinary, that complement the university’s mission, such as in sustainable business, social enterprises, or entrepreneurship for resilience. Appointments may be contractual, tenure-track, or with tenure.
