Position Summary:

The Department of Radiology, University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine & Public Health is seeking a full time radiologist, interested in pursuing an academic career in Breast Imaging at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor on the Tenure Track.

Principal Duties:

The candidate filling this position will be specifically chosen for their expertise and interest in breast imaging. The duties have a primary focus in breast radiology including mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, localizations, and breast biopsies. research, and education. Tenure track candidates are expected to develop an independent research program. Clinical excellence and departmental teaching are also required, including medical student, resident, and fellow education.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

MD Degree, board certified or board eligible in diagnostic radiology.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Applicant must be board certified or board eligible in diagnostic radiology. Fellowship training in Breast Imaging including mammography, ultrasound and MR of the breast and breast biopsies is required.

Associate and Professor rank will require experience and credentials for appointment at rank as described in the School of Medicine and Public Health Tenure Track Appointment and Promotion Guidelines.

License or Certificate:

WIsconsin medical license eligible
