Temporary Medical Assistants UTEMPS

We are seeking experienced Medical Assistants to assist with the delivery of patient care for University Health Services. We have several positions available. These temporary assignments may transition to regular status. The projected end date for these positions is August 31, 2021.

 

Positions details:

  • Benefits eligible
  • Hourly Rate $18.50
  • Work hours are from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. -Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week - Hours may vary.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, certificate of registration as a Medical Assistant, or formal medical services training in the United States Armed Forces. One year of experience as a Medical Assistant. CPR certification within 90 days of hire. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of protected health information. Demonstrated ability to successfully work with a diverse community and provide services from a non-judgmental perspective.   Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

 

Background Checks:

A criminal history background check will be required for finalist(s) under consideration for these positions.
