Associate Specialist - Clinical Orthopaedic Research

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery invites applications from qualified candidates for an Associate Specialist position (1.0 FTE) in clinical orthopaedic research. This research position will bridge orthopaedics and public health sciences. We aim to recruit outstanding individuals with the appropriate background and/or experience, capable of interacting with our many collaborators, and working with minimal supervision.
Candidates should have a M.D. (or equivalent), Ph.D., and/or a Master’s degree in a field that meet the needs of the department. 4-5 years of postdoctoral experience is required.
Specialists are evaluated for merit and promotion based on
evidence of contribution to the research program,
authorship/acknowledgement in peer-reviewed publications and
conference papers, active dissemination of information and other
evidence of expertise. The Specialist will maintain professional
competence and may perform university and public service.
Candidates with experience or willingness to engage in activities
