Primary Function:
Leading the offices of Admissions & Recruitment, Academic Advising Center, Financial Aid and Scholarships, Registrar, Center for Testing, Georgia College Visitor Center, New Student Orientation and other areas as appropriate. The SAVPEM also is responsible for coordinating recruitment and retention efforts university-wide.
Primary Purpose:
Reporting to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Senior Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management (SAVPEM) is responsible for leading the offices of Admissions & Recruitment, Academic Advising Center, Financial Aid and Scholarships, Registrar, Center for Testing, Georgia College Visitor Center, New Student Orientation and other areas as appropriate. The SAVPEM also is responsible for coordinating recruitment and retention efforts university-wide. Reporting to the Provost, this position serves as the Chief Enrollment Officer, by formulating strategies and developing programs that meet the institutional enrollment and graduation goals of the university.

Job duties performed for the above function:
Responsible for the personnel, coordination and leadership for
the offices of Admissions & Recruitment, Center for Academic
Advising, Financial Aid and Scholarships, Registrar, Center for
Testing, GC Visitor Center, New Student Orientation and other areas
as appropriate. The SAVPEM also is responsible for coordinating
recruitment and retention efforts university-wide.

Design, execute and monitor comprehensive strategic marketing and enrollment programs that result in desired enrollment which provides the University with a diverse and quality applicant population. Develop and implement a cohesive enrollment management and marketing plan that includes out of state outreach with broad collaboration and support from a multitude of campus constituencies, including academic departments, administration, staff, students, and alumni. 30%
Develops and implements tools for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting of benchmark data as related to student enrollment. 10%
With broad collaboration from campus constituencies, coordinate retention activities that help University meet desired retention and graduation goals. 10%
Provides overall coordination of all enrollment processes and systems support. Monitors and reports enrollment levels to the Provost, President and other Georgia College personnel. Supervises enrollment management personnel. Prepare annual budgets. Responsible for administration of financial aid awards and review and final approval of student petitions. Serves on several university committees, tasks force, and represents the College as requested. Liaison with Office of University Advancement to help generate new student scholarships.
Ensures institutional compliance with all federal, state, and
institutional regulations as they relate to assigned areas of
responsibility.

Minimum Requirements:
Master's degree; At least 7 years of experience in higher education with progressively increasing responsibilities in enrollment management, including successful out of state recruiting experience.
