ADJUNCT FACULTY, Diagnostic Medical Imaging Sonography (DMIS) Lab Instructor for Patient Care

College of DuPage seeks an adjunct faculty member to instruct some DMIS 1110 Patient Care Skills for Sonographers lab courses in the Diagnostic Medical Imaging Sonography program during the upcoming Spring Semester. Labs meet for 2 hours per section per week. The sections we need instructors for are currently set for Tuesdays 12:30p to 8:30p – if all 4 of the sections seats are filled.

Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as, face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.

• The applicant must be qualified by education and experience, and be effective in teaching the subject(s) assigned.
• Equivalent to 3 years full-time experience is required.
• The applicant must be a currently Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and have taken and passed the ARDMS Abdomen/Superficial Structures & Obstetrics/Gynecology, and Vascular Technology boards, and currently work in the field.

Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred. Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online required.
