Anoka-Ramsey Community College is seeking a Dean of Business, Psychology, Social Sciences, Wellness and World Languages. The individual selected for this position will be responsible for the academic departments of Business, Psychology, Social Sciences, Wellness and World Languages on both the Coon Rapids and Cambridge Campuses.  This individual will be responsible for program review, assessment of student learning outcomes, and other activities that promote institutional effectiveness and student success.

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Demonstrated commitment and success working in a diverse and multi-cultural and multi-racial community.
  • Demonstrated teaching and/or leadership/administrative experience in a post-secondary institution
  • Experience or knowledge in utilizing proven strategies to eliminate the equity gap.
  • Interpersonal skills to allow the development and maintenance of working relationships with faculty, staff, administration, and students
  • Master’s degree

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference is given to those who have the following:

  • Three years of experience in a leadership and/or an administrative role.
