Job Summary/Basic Function

The SUNY Canton Health Care Management Program invites applicants for the tenure-track position of Instructor/Assistant Professor (Lecturer rank also considered).

Job Requirements & Essential Functions of the Job

Primary responsibilities include teaching introductory and advanced level undergraduate healthcare management courses, curriculum development, accreditation, academic advising, and college service. Position contingent upon funding. Duties would commence in August, 2021.

Required Qualifications

Required:
• Assistant Professor Appointment: PhD in relevant discipline
• Instructor Appointment: ABD in relevant discipline, with plans to complete PhD
• Lecturer Appointment: Masters in relevant discipline

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred:
• Prior college teaching experience and knowledge of online teaching platforms such as Blackboard, Moodle, or Angel
Desirable:
• Experience working in Health Care Administration or Management
• The SUNY Canton Business Department is seeking individuals who are committed to teaching excellence and are interested in growing the Health Care Management Program.
