Job Description:

BASIC FUNCTION

The Department of Psychology at Salve Regina University invites applications for tenure-track assistant/associate professor in Applied Behavior Analysis to begin in Fall 2021. The successful candidate will primarily teach graduate courses in the ABA Master's program with secondary responsibilities for teaching undergraduate ABA courses as needed. A teaching load commensurate with the other duties of the position is set at 7 courses per year.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include maintaining productive research and scholarship; assisting in the supervision of practicum placements; advising graduate and undergraduate students; and participating in service at the university, local, and national levels.


Requirements:

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Doctoral degree in behavior analysis or a related field before the start date
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D) before the start date


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to teach behavior analysis to a diverse group of students
  • Evidence of potential for scholarly productivity
  • Evidence of supervising clinical experiences
