Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.: 501888), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, Statistics or a related discipline. They should have a good command in written and spoken English and Chinese. They should also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to work independently and as a team. Those with work experience in research projects using mixed-methods methodology in the areas of social inclusion, youth development, mental health and knowledge in both quantitative and qualitative data management and analysis are preferred.

The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in managing and coordinating several ongoing research projects on social interventions for young people with mental health and social withdrawal issues, including overseeing data collection, analyzing data, drafting reports, conducting literature review and providing administrative support. Training in teaching counselling-related courses will also be offered.
