Assistant/Associate Professor of Neurosurgery
The Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine is seeking full-time neurosurgeons to join a growing, high volume academic practice at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor.
The practice centers around a medical complex containing three hospitals, one a VA medical center, and the only Level One trauma center in Oklahoma.
The candidate must be eligible for an Oklahoma state medical license, have completed an ACGME accredited residency training program in neurosurgery and fellowship training in a specific area of neurosurgery, and be board-certified or board-eligible. Candidates whose fellowship training was incorporated into their residency program training will be given consideration.
Responsibilities include active clinical practice of neurosurgery, serving the tertiary care hospital clinics and patient population, taking night call on the general neurosurgical rotation, teaching medical students and residents, involvement in national societies, and participating in clinical research initiatives.
