Research Assistant

The main focus of research is to understand the steps of the drug resistance process in order to develop therapeutic approaches to prevent and treat drug resistant breast cancer effectively. The laboratory is seeking a Research Assistant to assists scientists and investigative procedures under supervision. This role performs various assays, imaging experiments, and other technical duties to assist with the research activities of the laboratory and may be required to work with animal models and/or human subjects.

The minimum level of education required for the position is B.S. in molecular biology, biochemistry or equivalent with at least 2-3 years of relevant laboratory experience after graduation.

Candidates with M.S. and 1-2 years of experience in DNA cloning, qRT-PCR, western blotting analysis, and tissue/cell culture are particularly encouraged to apply.
