Job Summary          

The Academic Schools Budget Analyst provides oversight and maintains the budgeting activities for the areas of responsibility under the Vice Provost for Academic Schools. The position monitors the annual budget, analyzes financial data and develops reports for forecasting and analysis. This is a Professional Exempt Contractual (PEC) position for which an annual contract reflecting the base salary within the fiscal year (July 1st to June 30th) will be issued after ratification by Miami Dade College’s District Board of Trustees. 

 

 Minimum Requirements            
  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field and two (2) years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field and six (6) years of relevant experience
  • All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
  • Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external administrative offices to ensure that required procedures/controls are in compliance
