The Psychology Department at Bowdoin College seeks applicants for a tenure-track position in cognitive psychology beginning July 1, 2021. A Ph.D. in cognitive psychology or a related field is required; post-doctoral research or teaching experience are preferred. An appointment will be made at the Assistant Professor level. Teaching responsibilities (4 courses per year) will include a topics-level course in cognitive psychology, a course in research methods, an upper-level laboratory course and a seminar course in the area of the candidate’s expertise. The successful candidate must possess a strong commitment to undergraduate education and demonstrate the potential to develop an active and productive research program that involves undergraduates.
