Job Description:

York College is a teaching-focused institution, and we seek applicants with genuine interest in teaching and developing student scholarly activity.

The Operations and Information Management department at Graham School of Business, York College of Pennsylvania seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool in Information Technology Management and Supply Chain Management at any time. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses change on a period basis, depending on the department teaching needs.

The anticipated need is for an Adjunct Instructor in Information Technology and Supply Chain Management who is qualified to teach courses that include, but not limited to: Enterprise Data Management (IFS125), Application Development (IFS225), Constructing Cloud Applications (IFS320), Six Sigma (SCM325), and Purchasing Management (SCM310).

Our ideal candidate must be willing to teach a variety of introductory and upper-level courses in Information Technology Management and Supply Chain Management in an in-person and/or HyFlex format.

Adjuncts will be required to hold regular office hour, demonstrate an appropriate degree of professional activity (particularly with regard to pedagogy), and are expected to attend all meetings relevant to the position.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants should have earned a Master's in Information Systems, Supply Chain Operations or a closely related discipline, from an accredited institution by the start of the initial contract period. Teaching and/or field experience in the area of the course taught is required. Applicants should also demonstrate practical knowledge in the area of the course(s) taught

Preferred Qualification:

Doctoral degree in Information Systems, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management or a closely related field. Teaching college-level, continuing education, relevant industry experience, and certifications in the field is highly valued.
