Job Summary
Coordinates, organizes and supervises Campus Support Services team at designated campus. Troubleshoots and resolves issues with computer hardware/software/network issues. Coordinates technology projects on assigned campus. Coordinates computer and software deployment, as well as lab and user configuration. Oversees and meets the media needs of the campus and conference center. Troubleshoots Crestron controlled AV equipment and trains Campus Support department employees to instruct users to use the equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Researches and drafts bid proposals
• Assists in preparation of annual equipment budget
• Resolves issues that arise between users of the equipment and campus support personnel
• Prepares necessary work related production reports
• Develops and evaluates institutional and professional effectiveness plans and goals for all Campus Support personnel
• Coordinates AV equipment usage and Media equipment for events
• Meets with Conference Center and Campus Administration for consultation on Media needs
• Troubleshoots equipment failures with Crestron/Extron Media systems in classroom environments
• Instructs users on classroom equipment/Repairs/coordinates repair of inoperative equipment
• Identifies areas of aging equipment/makes recommendations for upgrade and/or replacement; Provides research for replacement of outdated and inoperative equipment
• Replaces or oversees replacement of outdated or inoperative equipment
• Provides video or audio taping services including multi‐camera setups
• Duplicates video or audio events on different mediums
• Interprets blueprints and technological data
• Interfaces with Media Consultants and Vendors on District Renovations
• Interprets a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Troubleshoots and installs hardware and software
• Monitors and provides Tier 2 support for helpdesk tickets
• Manages the campus support group staff
• Reimages and prepares hard drives of corrupt/damaged/infected systems
• Coordinates lab configurations and software deployment with campus users to meet specific department needs on a semester basis
• Analyzes technology needs of campus users and recommends and implements solutions to meet those needs
• Coordinates with campus users to deploy replacement computers, including user data backup/migration and software
• Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
• Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through the Tarrant County College ( TCC ) Institute
• Supports the values of the College: diversity, teaching excellence, student success, innovation and creativity and service to the College
• Supports the mission, values and 3 goals and 8 principles of the College

Required Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensures
• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university and (3) years of experience in the operation of AV equipment and systems; or (3) years of experience in the support and operation of microcomputer equipment and systems or any equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and related experience
Desired Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensures
• Extron/Crestron Certification
• IT Project Management Certification or equivalent IT certification
• MS System Center Configuration Manager Certification or Crestron Certification
Knowledge, Skills and Ability
• Excellent technology skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with an appreciation for detail
• Related work experience in a similar position, including working with faculty to use mediated technology in classroom environment
• Experience with technology including hardware and software and servers
• Familiarity with computer networking
• Experience with computerized systems
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
