Directs the ongoing contract management operations for all IP-related and industry sponsored contracts for Office of Tech Transfer & Innovation. Engages with UH and external parties to implement and execute contracts.
- Oversees and maintains technology transfer contracts for OTTI
to include but not limited to; licenses, options,
inter-institutional agreements, memoranda of understandings,
agreement amendments, and intellectual property management
agreements to ensure timely and accurate execution of contractual
requirements.
- Works with OTTI staff to execute and implement
agreements.
- Manages agreement database ensuring accurate database
information.
- Directs agreement compliance and collaborates with OTTI staff
to resolve deficiencies with outside parties.
- Leads agreement audit process.
- Maintains agreement financial records.
- Communicates financial obligations to licensees.
- Serves as point-of-contact for agreement related matters within
UH and with external parties.
- Manages agreement reviews with UH General Counsel, outside
counsel, as necessary.
- Communicates with UH Business Operations on financial matters
related to OTTI contracts. Prepares revenue distribution memos, as
well as forecasting and management reports for the Executive
Director as requested and needed.
- Performs other job-related duties as required.

Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree and 3 years experience.
Education: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
Experience: Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience.
