Catholic Theological Union President
Catholic Theological Union (CTU), a Roman Catholic graduate school of theology and ministry, seeks a dynamic and visionary leader as its seventh President. For over fifty years CTU has prepared men and women, religious and laity, for a rich variety of ministries, leadership roles, and advanced studies.
The qualified candidate should be a Roman Catholic religious priest, brother, or sister fully committed to the mission of CTU and possessing appropriate credentials for leadership in theological education, including a doctoral degree in theology or an allied discipline, along with administrative experience and pastoral sensibilities.
The president is the chief executive officer of the school and serves an ambassadorial role, representing CTU to multiple publics. The president should be an effective communicator and a collaborative leader, able to engage constructively with fellow administrators, with diverse faculty and students, and with the various constituents of the school.

Instructions for Candidates
Interested applicants are asked to submit a letter of interest by September 15, 2020, addressed to Mr. Thomas Brown, Chair, Presidential Search Committee, Catholic Theological Union at email@example.com.
The application materials should include a full curriculum vitae, indicating academic, ministerial, and administrative experience, the names and contact information of three references, as well as responses to the following three questions. Responses to each question should be no more than 500 words in length.
- How would you assess and prioritize the current state of theological education?
- What contributions would you specifically bring to CTU as president in such a climate?
- Why do you want to lead CTU?
