Registrar

The REGISTRAR is responsible for the development of student-centered and effective registration policies and procedures, course schedule, course catalog, and academic calendar for instructional Sustainable Educational Business Units (SEBUs). This position uses institutional systems to oversee confidential academic records, evaluate academic credit, and implement academic policies and processes. Provides registration and related data for institutional reporting and special projects. Advises Academics on curricular policy matters and promotes a culture of student success and academic achievement on campus.

POSITION CAN BE LOCATED AT ANY OF UNITY COLLEGE'S LOCATIONS.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree and 5-10 years related experience in the registrar's office and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience plus:

Must have extensive knowledge of student record systems with the ability to define all required operational data fields and required processes for a registrar's office. Ability to communicate effectively and present information and respond to questions from faculty, staff, students, parents, and the general public. Ability to perform duties in a pleasant, discreet, and professional manner. Proficiency in the use of required technologies, including proficiency with excel reports and pivot tables. Must have attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials and use good spelling, grammar, and written communication skills.
