Objective
Perform part-time operations for Blinn College as part of the instructional program at Caldwell High School
Essential Duties
Teach MATH 1314, MATH 1324, MATH 1325, MATH 1332, and others as needed
Maintain office hours as defined by Blinn College
Prepare course syllabus which shall include stated objectives for the course
Stay current on developments regarding instructional methodology
Maintain and provide, through the proper modalities, a grade evaluation on each student’s performance in a timely fashion with the frequency required by Blinn College
Perform other Mathematics program related tasks and attend part-time faculty meetings as assigned
Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other instructors, staff, administration and students
Ability to instruct students while achieving the course learning objectives
Must be a current employee at Caldwell High School.
Preferred Experience and Training
College teaching experience desirable
Training or coursework in mathematics pedagogy
Physical Requirements Required Degree, License or Certifications
Master’s degree or higher with at least 18 graduate hours in mathematics or statistics

Applicant will teach mathematics courses at Caldwell High School, a school in the Bryan service area, for Blinn College.
