Assistant Professor of Marketing

The Schroeder Family School of Business Administration (Schroeder School) at the University of Evansville (UE) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Marketing at the assistant level, pending University approval, beginning January or August 2021. Salary and benefits are competitive with peer institutions, based on the market, educational attainment, and experience.  Responsibilities include teaching nine credit hours per semester; research leading to refereed journal publications; and service at the school and/or university-level. The Schroeder School is an AACSB-accredited business school focused on high-quality student outcomes in a welcoming and responsive setting. The School’s mission is to “prepare undergraduate students in a liberal arts framework to become globally aware business professionals. We are distinctive in experiential learning, career support, and faculty scholarship in a balanced teacher-scholar environment.” We are currently ranked #4 among small, private business schools by U.S. News and World Report.  

Qualifications

Applicants must have a terminal degree in Marketing from an AACSB accredited institution, or be in the ABD stage with expected completion of their doctoral studies within one year of start date. Primary teaching responsibilities will include digital marketing, as well as principles of marketing, consumer behavior, and marketing research. Other subjects in the candidate’s field of specialization, subject to university needs, will be considered. All teaching is at the undergraduate level. Strong preference will be given to candidates who can provide evidence of outstanding teaching.
