ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTOR
Full-time position, responsible for teaching in the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Electrical Engineering Technology program in the Division. Duties include teaching and advising AAS degree and certificate students in the Electrical Engineering Technology program. Courses include, but are not limited to, Basic Electricity and Electronics, AC/DC theory, basic wiring practices, programmable logic controllers, industrial motor controls, applications of the National Electric Code, microprocessors, robotics, instrumentation, automotive related digital electronics. Other areas may include renewable energy related coursework (solar and wind). Additional duties are; development and planning of program curriculum; organizing and conducting advisory meetings in support of the program; assisting with program recruitment and marketing; updating/maintaining equipment; and course/program review and evaluation.
