The Director of Annual Giving is responsible for the strategic management and coordination of all university annual giving programs, including general university, college and departmental annual fundraising efforts as well as leadership level annual giving. The Director will actively oversee Annual Giving solicitations and communications (direct mail, telemarketing, email, Giving Days, stewardship, Annual Giving publications); and supervise the Assistant Director of Annual Giving, who oversees special constituency programs (Parents, Faculty/Staff Giving, and Young Alumni), and the Call Center. Director of Annual Giving reports to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Development, and will work with the AVC in making decisions about strategies, solicitation methods, segmentation, and timing; as well as developing themes, objectives, and goals within a dynamic, fast paced fundraising environment. University Advancement at North Carolina A&T State University is making conscious efforts to create a strong culture of philanthropy. The Director of Annual Giving ensures that the university is meeting its goals for annual giving dollars raised, percentage of participation, consistency of giving, average gift size, and leadership giving for annual support. The Director oversees and coordinates the work of the annual giving staff, while working with the Advancement team, deans, faculty and staff, volunteers, and students. The Director organizes and implements the Annual Giving Program, which includes managing alumni and other constituents, organizing the Aggie Call Center, personal cultivation, and the solicitation of university donors, in support of the university's mission.
