The Director of Annual Giving is responsible for the strategic
management and coordination of all university annual giving
programs, including general university, college and departmental
annual fundraising efforts as well as leadership level annual
giving. The Director will actively oversee Annual Giving
solicitations and communications (direct mail, telemarketing,
email, Giving Days, stewardship, Annual Giving publications); and
supervise the Assistant Director of Annual Giving, who oversees
special constituency programs (Parents, Faculty/Staff Giving, and
Young Alumni), and the Call Center. Director of Annual Giving
reports to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Development, and will
work with the AVC in making decisions about strategies,
solicitation methods, segmentation, and timing; as well as
developing themes, objectives, and goals within a dynamic, fast
paced fundraising environment. University Advancement at North
Carolina A&T State University is making conscious efforts to
create a strong culture of philanthropy. The Director of Annual
Giving ensures that the university is meeting its goals for annual
giving dollars raised, percentage of participation, consistency of
giving, average gift size, and leadership giving for annual
support. The Director oversees and coordinates the work of the
annual giving staff, while working with the Advancement team,
deans, faculty and staff, volunteers, and students. The Director
organizes and implements the Annual Giving Program, which includes
managing alumni and other constituents, organizing the Aggie Call
Center, personal cultivation, and the solicitation of university
donors, in support of the university's mission.
