**This position is restricted to a one year appointment**

The Residential Learning Coordinator (RL Coordinator) is responsible for coordinating all building and community aspects of a residential community; create a student community oriented towards that academic and social development of residents; responsible for formulating a community development plan that focuses on individual student engagement and support, facilitated by paraprofessional staff that are hired, trained, supervised and evaluated by the RL Coordinator; perform administrative duties congruent with maintaining community standards, occupancy management, and a safe and secure environment.

Required Qualifications

Master's degree in college student affairs or related field conferred by time of appointment to position. The successful candidate should also demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse student body and foster sensitivity to diversity issues in the University community.

Preferred Qualifications

Some full-time work experience in residence life or operations; staff supervision experience; knowledge of or experience with structured first-year programs or other special interest program; experience with training and teaching.
