Job Summary
The enterprise applications specialist is responsible for assisting with the implementation and support of enterprise systems for Lindenwood University. This position configures applications, maintains necessary documentation and provides end-user support and user training. In addition, the position will assist with reviewing the existing application suite to recommend upgrades or replacements as necessary.
Qualified candidates will have previous experience configuring and maintaining financial or accounting information systems.
Applicants should have an understanding of accounting and financial terminology and be able to demonstrate through business processes.

Job Responsibilities
- Provides technical support for university enterprise systems
- Develops and maintains system user support documentation and supports the development of enterprise application training materials
- Assists in building and maintaining application integration for systems modules, installations, user support, software add-ons and third-party systems
- Assists with new system updates and functional regression test updates
Service Orientation
- Provides excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
- Identifies, analyzes and resolves problems in a timely and thorough manner
- Provides regular updates to customers regarding issue resolution status
Communication, Collaboration and Teamwork
- Works collaboratively in a team environment to perform software development life cycle (SDLC) key tasks including administration, business systems support and automation, development, testing, implementation, documentation and enhancement updates as related to enterprise software and integrated systems
- Escalates issues to support contacts as necessary
- Participates in cross-functional teams to implement new features and/or resolve problems
Planning, Organizing and Accountability
- Effectively communicates technical issues and resolves problems at all levels of the organization
- Identifies enterprise software usage problems, crafts technical and communication plans and shares them with IT and business teams
- Coordinates activities with IT division units, system administrators and other key stakeholders
Initiative, Problem Solving and Decision Making
- Maintains understanding of data and business process flow, complex parameters, integration automation, systems scripting and data security administration
- Prioritizes work based on business needs of the university

Required Qualifications – An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. Additional requirements may be designated by position.
- Bachelor’s degree in an information technology, quantitative, scientific or STEM-related field
- Minimum of three years’ related experience
- Master’s degree in a related field preferred
