Academic Nephrologists (Position 3-309-1025) - The Nephrology Division at the University of Maryland School of Medicine has openings for our expanding clinical programs at our UMMC Downtown and Midtown locations. In addition to inpatient and outpatient clinical services, the candidate will also be expected to be involved in focused basic/clinical research.

Qualifications :

Successful candidates must have received their MD degree from a recognized accredited university (or foreign equivalent), be board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine and Nephrology and eligible to obtain an independent medical license in the State of Maryland.. Excellent clinical and teaching skills are also required as instruction of medical residents and fellows is integral to our clinical programs.

Faculty rank, tenure status and salary will be commensurate with experience, although we anticipate the position will be as Assistant Professor or higher on the non-tenure track.
