Position Title: Residence Hall Director

Salary: $885.00/week

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 1 year experience in Residence Life, as a student leader (i.e. RA) or professional, is required.

Live-on position.

Duties:

This is a MVCC Dormitory Corporation position on the MVCC campus.

BROAD FUNCTION: This is a live-on 10- month position.

The Residence Hall Director is a member of the administrative team responsible for providing overall daily management and leadership for all on-campus housing services. The Residence Hall Director creates and promotes a living-learning environment that fosters educational, social and cultural responsibility and development. The Residence Hall Director shares responsibility for approximately 150 undergraduates, RA student staff supervision, judicial procedures, programming and general complex operations.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reside on-campus.
- Responsible for administrative duties including but not limited to, any occupancy records, appropriate communication with Residence Hall Facilities, room assignments, fire drills, building openings and closings, implementation of standing office procedures.
- Will have dedicated focus in one or more specialty area such as academic success initiatives, community development or housing operations.
